Stories

This is the clutch from Wes' Polaris 440 Sport. Him and his buds were in the garage messing with the sled. Wes had just gotten it and was told, by the previous owner, that the clutch bolt had broken off in the clutch. The guys had the sled running with the hood open, listening for any imperfections. Little did they know that the primary was slowly walking off the tapered shaft. This clutch dropped off the shaft hit the belly pan and SHOT up into the air. It hit the ceiling and came down, hitting one car and tucking it's self up under a 2nd car. Wes and his friends had to jack the car up to remove the clutch from the undercarriage.

Luckily, no one was hurt. Like many ditch banging stories, this could have ended a lot worse....
